Waypoint Housing Insights, Inc. is a Tennessee corporation chartered in 2017 exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code, including to assist communities by providing quality housing opportunities for low-income, minority, disabled and elderly residents by acquiring, developing, preserving, rehabilitating and owning affordable multi- and single-family housing developments specifically designated for households whose incomes are below the median family income, through housing education and placement efforts for those persons and families in need of affordable housing options, through the provision of rental assistance for persons and families dramatically overburdened by housing costs, and by working with local governments to help provide, maintain and grow low-income housing opportunities within their communities. As Waypoint Housing gains experience and discovers new needs and opportunities within its charitable purposes, it will strive to adapt its housing developments and charitable services to better suit or further provide for the relevant needs of communities and residents, in particular, those low-income, elderly, disabled and homeless persons and families that apply for tenancy and/or reside in low-income housing developments.
